Carnegie-Mellon University Visit

A representative from Carnegie-Mellon University will be meeting with interested students on at 2 p.m. in the IB room (103) on September 25. Juniors and seniors who would like to attend should sign up with Mr. Schult in the counseling office.

Wake Forest - Open Houses and Diversity Programs

Wake Forest University will hold four open houses for prospective students on their campus this fall. The dates are September 25th, October 9th, October 12th, and November 11th. All Open House programs for the fall begin at 9:00 a.m. Registration for on-campus programs will be available online at http://www.wfu.edu/admissions.

Wake Forest will also host two diversity overnight programs this fall. The Visions program is open to prospective seniors only. Interested families are invited to attend Visions: Diversity at a Glance. Diverse families will have a chance to experience the variety of student cultural organizations at Wake Forest; interact with administrators, faculty, students and alumni; and learn more about the many opportunities for celebrating the various heritages that make up the Wake Forest community. Brown University will be hosting an informational presentation for applicants and parents at the Atlantic Center Plaza (1180 West Peachtree Street, Atlanta 30309) on Monday, September 14. The presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Visit by Yale Representative     A representative from Yale University will be visiting Campbell on Sept. 21st at 10:30 a.m. Any interested juniors and seniors should sign up with Mr. Jones by September 16 in order to get a pass to attend the session.

Vanderbilt Visit

A representative from Vanderbilt University will be visiting CHS on Friday, October 17, at 8:30 a.m. Sign up for this meeting with Mr. Jones in the IB Office by Friday, October 10.

College Representative Visits

• A representative from Brown University will be meeting interested applicants and parents on Monday, September 15, at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Williams Room (15016) of Atlantic Center Plaza, 1180 West Peachtree Street, Atlanta.
• A representative from Carnegie Mellon will be meeting interested applicants and parents on Sunday, September 14, at the Marriott Perimeter Center in Atlanta. More information can be found here, using the registration code "Scottie Dog."

Four colleges are sending representatives to the Atlanta area to meet with potential applicants:

• A representative from Yale University will be at CHS on Friday, September 12, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. This meeting is for students only. Students can sign up to attend the meeting through their junior or senior English teacher.
